I get this question so often, so I decided to make a blog post on advice and ideas of what to wear during your photo session! This is specifically for college grads, with local options to shop small in the DFW area!
I always recommend doing one casual outfit, one fun outfit, and one formal outfit if possible! I recommend avoiding busy patterns and sticking to neutral colors such as white, blush, denim, lavender, black, or tan. However, sometimes a pop of color or florals can be pretty for Spring! If you are doing a group shoot, think about colors that you can mix and match together such as pastels, or white + denim!
Casual Outfit Ideas:
For your casual look you could do a fun dress and sneakers, jeans and a top and wedges, or a skirt and boots! Here are some recs on where to shop:

Use this as an opportunity to express yourself! Are you an athlete? Wear your jersey and some gear! Are you a cheerleader? Wear your uniform + poms! Are you a nursing major? Wear your scrubs! Are you a fashion major? Wear something super out there! You could also consider wear a school spirited outfit of your college T-shirt, or your school’s football jersey!

For a formal outfit, I recommend wearing a flattering dress in a neutral color such as white, black, or metallic. If you are planning to use a cap and gown, it looks great to wear a simple white dress with heels underneath!
